Nature's Tapestry – Illustration & Handcrafted Typography
This piece explores the intricate connection between nature and design through a detailed illustration and handmade typography. At the center is a beetle, rendered with fine detail to highlight its natural symmetry and the ornate patterns that seem woven into its body like a living tapestry. Surrounding the beetle is custom, hand-drawn type created specifically for the composition—each letterform echoing the organic curves and textures found in the insect itself. The work celebrates the idea that nature is its own artist, and that the beetle, like a tapestry, wears its art naturally and with purpose.
Bloom – Hand-Drawn Illustration & Typography
Bloom is a handcrafted exploration of the quiet beauty found in nature. Both the illustration and typography were designed by hand, with each detail intentionally shaped to reflect the softness and elegance of blooming flowers. The romantic letterforms echo the curves and fragility of the surrounding florals, creating a cohesive visual language rooted in gentleness and growth. This piece celebrates the natural harmony between form and feeling, where typography and illustration flourish side by side.
Book Redesign
This project reimagines the first four books of the Outlander series through a fully custom redesign. I created original illustrations and bespoke typography for each cover, drawing inspiration from the historical and romantic themes of the series. Each design aims to capture the spirit of time travel, adventure, and emotional depth that defines the world of Outlander, while offering a cohesive and visually striking update across the set. The result is a modern, handcrafted tribute to a beloved literary journey.
